DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 32 ounces, with "Louisville Slugger / 125 / Powerized" in the center of the barrel and "Genuine S341 / Brian Giles (facsimile signature) / San Diego Padres" near the end of the barrel. The underside of the barrel has TPX and MLB logos. Barrel end tip is cupped with "S341" handwritten in black ink and an MLB Authentication hologram sticker covering additional handwriting in black ink. Knob end has "S341C / 33 1/2 - 31 / 24" handwritten in black ink.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Brian Giles of the San Diego Padres to record the first hit in Petco Park, the new home of the Padres, on April 8, 2004. The Padres won the park opener against the San Francisco Giants in extra innings, 4-3.
