Boston Red Sox World Series ring

DescriptionCommissioner's replica of a 2004 World Series Championship ring awarded to the Boston Red Sox with 56 cubic zirconias set around bezel. Inside bezel has "World Champions" on black background. "B" mounted on base depicting a baseball diamond inlaid with fourteen cubic zirconias. The "B" is inlaid with red and white stones. An inner bezel has a field of four blue synthetic sapphires. One arm has "Greatest Comeback in History 2004," with a pair of red enamel socks and "8 Straight." The other side has "Commissioner" on a black background over a depiction of Fenway Park and "4-0 Sweep."
Bio/Historical NoteThe Boston Red Sox defeated the St. Louis Cardinals four games to zero to win the 2004 World Series. This ring was presented to the Hall of Fame by the Red Sox on behalf of the Commissioner of Baseball, during the 2005 Hall of Fame Game ceremonies.
