New York Yankees World Series ring

Description14K gold 2009 World Series Championship ring awarded to the New York Yankees. This ring was presented to Commissioner Bud Selig. The crown of this white-gold ring has "NY" fashioned from small zircons mounted on a lapis stone. The girdle has two bands of zircon stones surrounding the lapis. One shank has "Selig / (NY logo) / Tradition," while the other shank has "World Champions / (stadium) / 2009 / Unity." Interior of the band is engraved "Balfour 14k / Yankee Stadium / Inaugural Season / 2009."
Bio/Historical NoteThe New York Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Phillies four games to two to win the 2009 World Series. Bud Selig served as Major League Baseball's ninth commissioner from 1992 to 2015.
