DescriptionBlack plastic molded construction hard hat with a red and black Baltimore oriole bird sticker on the front and "Janet Marie Smith" in white applique lettering on the bill. Rear of hat has a "Barton Malow / Sverdrup" label in white on black. Interior has a yellow adjustable head band with brown leather forehead protector. Underside of bill has the manufacturers label stamped into the plastic. Back of head has manufacturers sticker in green and white with a warning sticker.

Bio/Historical NoteHard hat worn by Janet Marie Smith, Baltimore Orioles vice president of planning and development, from 1989 to 1994, when she worked on the construction of Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore.
