DescriptionWhite shirt, size 52, with six clear buttons down the front placket. Front chest has "Cardinals" in red appliques with a baseball bat and two cardinal birds on either end. "29" is appliqued in red and navy blue on the proper left lower chest. Proper left front shirttail has manufacturer labels. Proper left sleeve has a "Busch Stadium / Inaugural Season 2006" patch with a red embroidered manufacturer logo below. Proper right sleeve has a "2006 World Series" patch. Reverse of the shirt has "Carpenter" and "29" in navy blue and red appliques. There is an MLB logo patch at the top back of the neck. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker on the lower portion of the "2" applique on the back side of the shirt.
Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Christ Carpenter throughout the 2006 Postseason. Carpenter started Game 3 of the 2006 World Series and is credited as the winning pitcher. The Cardinals wore patch on their uniforms in 2006 to celebrate of opening their new stadium, Busch Stadium.
