DescriptionGray shirt, size 48, with six gray buttons down the front placket and "Boston / C" in red and navy blue appliques on the front chest. There is red trim around the sleeve ends. Proper right sleeve has a 2007 World Series patch. Proper left sleeve has a navy blue embroidered manufacturer logo. Proper left front shirttail has a manufacturer label, "Authentic Collection / Majestic Athletic," and a tag with "33 / 48 / 07" and an MLB authentication sticker. Reverse of the shirt has "Varitek" and "33" in navy blue and red appliques. There is an MLB logo patch at the top back of the neck.
Bio/Historical NoteBoston Red Sox road jersey worn by catcher and team captain, Jason Varitek, during the 2007 World Series featuring the National League champions Colorado Rockies (making their first World Series appearance) and American League champions Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox swept the Rockies to collect their second World Series championship in four seasons and their seventh overall.
