Mariano Rivera All-Star Game shirt

DescriptionWhite polyester shirt, size 48, with navy blue pinstripes and six clear buttons running down the front placket. Front proper left chest has "NY" in navy blue appliques. Proper left sleeve has a gold, white and blue "Yankee Stadium 1923-2008" patch and a black stripe around the perimeter of the bottom of the sleeve. Proper right sleeve has a blue, white and red "All-Star Game / NYC 2008" patch. Front proper left shirttail has a manufacturer label, "Authentic Collection Majestic," with year and sizing tag below. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker affixed to the label. Reverse of the shirt has "42" in navy blue appliques in the center along with an MLB logo patch at the top back of the neck.

Bio/Historical NoteReliever Mariano Rivera wore this shirt for the final All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium, July 15-16, 2008. He pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings, his seventh All-Star Game appearance without allowing an earned run. The black armband was added in memory of Bobby Murcer.
