DescriptionRed wool cap, size 7 3/4, with a white and black embroidered "W" logo on the front. Underside of the bill is black with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Interior crown has "37" handwritten in black marker. Black sweatband has three manufacturers labels, including "Authentic Collection," "New Era" and sizing information.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by rookie pitcher Stephen Strasburg of the Washington Nationals during his first Major League start on June 8, 2010. Strasburg struck out 14 batters and issued no walks during his seven innings of work. The Nationals defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2.
