Eric Bruntlett World Series cap

DescriptionRed wool cap with a white "P" embroidered on the front and a blue button at the top crown. Proper left side has a 2008 World Series logo patch. Cap has a three inch wide twill and fleece flap in the rear that can be unfolded to provide ear and neck protection from wind and cold. When unfolded, the back of the cap displays "Phillies" in red, blue and white embroidery. When folded up, the back of cap displays an MLB logo. Underside of the bill is black with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker and an MLB License number, DB604969857. Interior black cotton sweatband has two labels, "Authentic Collection" and "New Era," with a care flag tag. Seam binding on the interior top crown has a black flag tag, "Pat. No. 6493880."

Bio/Historical NotePhiladelphia Phillies flap-cap issued to Eric Bruntlett for the 2008 World Series. Bruntlett hit a solo home run in Game 2 (at Tampa Bay) breaking up a shut out in the eighth inning and scored the winning run for Philadelphia in Game 3 at Philadelphia. The Phillies won their second championship, taking the series four games to one.
