DescriptionA full-length color photograph of Omar Vizquel diving for a catch. Captured mid-action, wearing a Cleveland Indians alternate uniform, Vizquel looks down and to his left at the oncoming ball, visible crossing over the base below. Suspended in the air, Vizquel reaches horizontally, leading with his outstretched gloved back left hand, to catch the ball. Vizquel extends his front right arm downwards, towards the ground, bracing for impact. Captured in-game, an occupied stadium can be seen in the background of the photograph. In the lower left corner of the photograph is a 2001 Photo File, Inc. copyright sticker. In the lower right corner of the image is a Major League Baseball licensee authentication sticker with the serial number of the photograph. Stamped on the reverse (not shown), in blue ink, is copyright information attributing this photograph to CAPS (Coalition to Advance the Protection of Sports Logos). Based on the specific uniform design worn by Vizquel, this photograph was taken during the 1994 season, the only year during which Vizquel played that the Indians wore blue jerseys.
