DescriptionA full-length color photograph of Jamie Moyer pitching. Moyer, facing the camera, is shown wearing a Seattle Mariners road uniform. Standing on the mound, captured mid-pitch, Moyer stands on his bent, back left leg while stepping out, in the direction of the batter, with his straight, front right leg. Wearing a baseball glove on his front right hand, that his raised shoulder height, Moyer grips the baseball with his left hand. While extending his left arm straight behind his body, shoulder height, Moyer looks forward, in the direction that he is about to hurl the ball. Captured in-game, an occupied stadium is visible in the background of the photograph. Visible in the lower left corner of the image is a sticker with a 1996 Major League Baseball and a Photo File, Inc. copyright logo, as well as a Major League Baseball Players Association logo. Stamped on the reverse (not shown), in blue ink, is copyright information attributing this photograph to CAPS (Coalition to Advance the Protection of Sports Logos). Based on the specific design of the uniform worn by Moyer, this image dates from 1996, his first year with Seattle to 1997, the year this photograph was donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
