DescriptionWhite polyester shirt, size 46, with red piping around the neck and down the front placket. There are six clear white buttons down the front placket. Front chest has "Red Sox" in navy blue and red appliques. Proper left front shirttail has a manufacturer label, "Authentic Collection / Majestic," with "12 46 '13" embroidered in black on a white cotton label beneath. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker attached to the manufacturer label. Proper left sleeve has a circular navy blue patch with "B Strong" in red and white lettering. There is a black embroidered manufacturer logo beneath. Proper right sleeve has a 2013 Postseason patch with an MLB logo. Reverse of the shirt has "12" in navy blue and red appliques along with an MLB logo at the top back of neck.
Bio/Historical NoteShirt worn by Mike Napol of the Boston Red Sox during Game 6 of the 2013 American League Championship Series. During the ALCS, played by Boston and Detroit Tigers, Napoli drove in the game-winning run in Game 3 and scored the game-winning run in Game 5. The shirt bears the "B Strong" patch added by the team after the April 20, 2013 bombing during the Boston Marathon. The Red Sox defeated the Detroit Tigers 5-2 at Fenway Park in Boston, MA to move on to the 2013 World Series.
