DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 31.5 ounces, with a white "M / Marucci / Bone Rubbed" logo in the center of the barrel and "Handcrafted for / Jose Reyes / JR7 Pro Model" in white lettering near the end of the barrel. There is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker to the right of this. Barrel end tip is cupped. Knob end has inscribed numbers.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Jose Reyes of the New York Mets on September 23, 2008 when he hit his 200th hit of the 2008 season. Lance Johnson is the only other Mets player with 200 or more hits in a season. Reyes's hit was a triple, his league-leading 19th of the season. In doing so, Reyes became just the 12th different player born in the Dominican Republic to achieve the feat.
