Bio/Historical NoteBaseball thrown by Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber for the first pitch of the game on September 12, 2017. Kluber pitched a complete game shutout in the 2-0 victory over the Detroit Tigers at Progressive Field. It was the Indians 20th consecutive win, which tied the then-American League-record. The streak continued to 22 consecutive wins.
