DescriptionWooden bat, 30.5 ounces, with black painted handle and knob and natural stain barrel. The handle is wrapped in red tape. There is a black "LS" logo and "Powerized" in the center of the barrel and "Genuine B415 / Ronald Acuña (facsimile signature) / Atlanta Braves" in black lettering near the end of the barrel. Below this is an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Underside of the barrel has an MLB logo and "Prime" in black lettering. Barrel end tip is cupped. Knob end has "9/26/18 / MLB MAPLE / 33.5/30.5" engraved in the center.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Braves rookie leftfielder Ronald Acuña, Jr. in the team's 6-5 win over the Dodgers on October 7, 2018 in Game 3 of the NLDS at SunTrust Park. In the game, he used this bat to hit a grand slam in the 2nd inning. At 20 years old, Acuña became the youngest player ever to hit a grand slam in the Postseason, a record previously held by 21 year old Mickey Mantle since 1953. The bat broke in the first inning of the game the next day.
