DescriptionRed cap, size 7 1/4, with an embroidered team logo at the front center. To the proper left of the logo is a celluloid pin reading "Skaggs / 45." Proper left side has a white embroidered manufacturer logo and there is an embroidered MLB logo at the rear center. Underside of the bill is black. "67" is handwritten in black marker on the interior proper left front panel. Black cotton sweatband has three manufacturer labels, including "Authentic Collection," "New Era" and sizing information.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Los Angeles Angels' relief pitcher, Taylor Cole, who started and pitched the first two innings of the team's combined no-hitter on July 12, 2019. He was relieved by Felix Pena, who went the final seven innings without allowing a hit. This was the first Angels home game since Tyler Skaggs, a pitcher on the team, passed away earlier that month. The entire team wore jerseys bearing the last name "Skaggs" and number 45. This cap bears a "45" pin in tribute to Skaggs.
