DescriptionBlack cap, size 7 3/8, with a cream, black, and maroon embroidered team logo on the front and a maroon embroidered manufacturer logo on the proper left side. There is a white, black, and maroon embroidered MLB logo at the rear center. Underside of the bill is black with an MLB Authentication hologram sticker. Interior black cotton sweatband has several manufacturer labels at the rear, including "New Era," "Authentic Collection / Performance Headwear / Official On-FIeld Cap," and a sizing tag. "49" is handwritten in black marker on the interior proper right front panel.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Tyler Gilbert on August 14, 2021, when he pitched a complete game no-hitter against the San Diego Padres in his first career big league start after making his first 4 major league appearances earlier in the month out of the bullpen. Gilbert became the first pitcher since Bobo Holloman in 1953 to pitch a no hitter in his first start in the majors.
