DescriptionA collage of black-and-white photographs of Thurman Munson. The photograph in the top left corner features a head and shoulder shot of Munson dressed in a New York Yankees uniform. Munson has a small smile. The photograph in the bottom left corner features a head and shoulder picture of Munson dressed in plain clothes, also with a small smile on his face. On the right side, the larger photograph of Munson displays him in action as a catcher. Munson, with an intense expression on his face, has his glove at shoulder height and is about to throw the ball which is visible in his right hand. Munson is dressed in a New York Yankees home uniform and his catcher's gear. His baseball cap is backwards in this photograph. The caption on the front of the photograph states, "THURMAN MUNSON Catcher." Based on his time with the New York Yankees, these photographs were taken between 1969 and 1979.
