DescriptionA black-and-white photograph, from left to right, of Red Patterson, Bill Schweppe, Peter O'Malley, Al Campanis, and James Bealle captured seated at a round table that features a glass top and has a miniature replica of the Dodger Stadium as the gentlemen discuss O'Malley becoming president of the Dodgers in the fall. All five gentlemen have small smiles on their faces and are dressed in suits. Dodger Stadium is visible in the background. A caption is written on the back of the photograph and states, "Peter O'Malley (center), newly-named executive vice-president of the Dodgers, holds court with the club's four other veeps. From left they are Red Patterson, in charge of public relations and promotions; Bill Schweppe, in charge of minor league operations; Al Campanis, in charge of player personnel and scouting; and James Bealle, in charge of Radio-TV. Young O'Malley will succeed his father as club president in October." Based on the caption this photograph was taken on January 4, 1969.
