Herb Pennock Japanese Tour shirt

DescriptionCream-colored uniform shirt with seven white buttons down the front placket. Proper left sleeve has a red, white, and blue embroidered shield-shaped patch with a Japanese flag in the center. "Pennock" is embroidered in red script lettering at the interior back of the neck. To the right of this is a manufacturer label.

Bio/Historical NoteUniform shirt worn by Herb Pennock during the 1922 Tour of Japan. Dubbed the Herb Hunter All Stars, the American team was composed of such stars as Casey Stengel, Waite Hoyt, Amos Strunk, George "Highpockets" Kelly, Irish Meusel, and others.
