Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by Braves closer Will Smith in the clinching Game 6 of the 2021 World Series on Nov. 2. Smith pitched the final inning of the 7-0 victory, closing out the Fall Classic. He did not allow a run over the course of 11 Postseason appearances in 2021, including four World Series outings, two of which ended in saves. The tongue on each has two different words on it, one with the word “PLAY” and the other with the word “HARD.”
