Johnny Damon World Series shoes

DescriptionBlack leather shoes, size 13, with black laces and silver vinyl detailing on both the inner and outer sides. Each has a flap of leather covering the upper half of the laces which extends over and secures with a hook-and-loop fastener on the outer side. At the top of this flap is "Puma" with a logo embroidered in white. Tongues are thickly padded with manufacturer labels on the undersides. Outer toe box of each shoe has a white manufacturer logo as well as a smaller black logo further down on the rubber edge towards the heel. Heels have "18" embroidered in white and "Cell" inscribed in the rubber below. Bottom soles are black and white plastic with six metal spikes.

Bio/Historical NoteShoes worn by New York Yankees outfielder Johnny Damon during Game 4 of the 2009 World Series. Damon batted .364 and was part of a double steal during the game.
