DescriptionA color negative of Hank Allen dressed in a Washington Senators home uniform posing in a hitter's stance for a 1/2 headshot along the thirdbase line. He is wearing a blue three quarter sleeve shirt underneath the jersey. His torso is turned to the right and he is looking to the left of the camera (not shown). He is holding a Louisville Slugger bat vertically by his left shoulder with both of his hands. Behind him is an empty stadium with differently colored section seating with blue second tier back section seating. Stadium floodlights are attached to the front of the stadium canopy at the top. Based on Hank Allen's time with the Washington Senators and the uniform style, this image was taken in either 1966 or 1967.
