Bob Allison negative
Datebetween 1955 and 1958
DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Bob Allison dressed in a Washington Senators road uniform posing in a batter's stance in a 1/2 headshot. His body is facing the right and holding a baseball bat vertically over his right shoulder with both hands while he is looking off to the left. There are multiple other people on the field in both uniforms and street clothing talking in groups or throwing around baseballs. In the background on the right, there is empty stadium seating and on the left behind Allison, stadium floodlights. A number can be seen on Allison's back, "3-" but officially none of his MLB numbers had a 3. Based on Bob Allison's time with the Washington Senators, their minor league affiliates, and the uniform style, this image was taken between 1955 and 1958.
