DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Bobby Adams dressed in a Chicago Cubs road uniform posed in a fielding stance. His knees are bent and torso is leaning forward with his hands in front of his body poised to catch a ground ball. His left hand has a glove resting in the dirt with his right hand hovering right next to it. Adams is looking to the left of the camera (not shown) towards the ground. Scattered groups of people are sitting in the stadium seating behind him with the majority to his left (closer to home plate). Two banners along the front of the second tier of seating- the one on the far left reads "WMCA" and the one on the far right reads "NE." WMCA 570 AM is a radio station in New York City that would cover all road and home New York Giant games. Based on Bobby Adams time with the Chicago Cubs and uniform style, this image was taken in 1957.
