DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller posing with a baseball in celebration of the announcement that he was elected for induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Feller sits in an office wearing an a suit and tie, holding a baseball in his right-throwing hand with a pitching grip with three more baseballs on the desk in front of him. A caption (not shown) states, "CLEVELAND, Jan. 23--HAPPY HALL OF FAMER--Bob Feller gripped a baseball in his famed pitching fashion and flashed a grin when told today he had been elected into Baseball's Hall of Fame 'Naturally, I'm happy about it,' said the insurance executive in his office. 'But now it's almost as if I had nothing to look forward to. Except going to Cooperstown this summer.' Feller said he felt he would have to wait longer to be elected by the baseball writers into the Hall of Fame. This was the first time he was eligible."
