DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth and a young boy with a birthday cake. The caption (not shown) reads "Records show Feb. 6 to be Babe Ruth's 53rd birthday anniversary, although the ball player insists his anniversary is Feb. 7. Assisting him with a cake, gift of the hotel where Ruth is staying at Miami Beach, Fla., is little Johnny Every, of Woodbourne N.Y." Ruth has a knife in one hand and appears to be eating cake from Every. Every is sitting on the table, next to the cake. They are outside and a tree and ocean can be seen in the background.
