The caption (not shown) reads "Officially opening "Make it a case for a kid" week, baseball's Babe Ruth presents several used suitcases to members of local salvation army and boys' clubs, at his home in New York City. Five local and national welfare organizations are combining their efforts in a drive to get 30,000 pieces of used luggage suitable for children who will be sent to summer camps by by these organizations." Ruth is sitting down and handing a young boy a suitcase. There are five other boys pictured. Additional luggage can be seen on the right bottom corner.
