The caption (not shown) reads "The mighty Babe Ruth autographs score cards for youngsters who mobbed him as he entered the stands for the East-West All-American Boys' baseball game today at the Polo Grounds. Baseball fans saw twenty-eight boys, all 17 or under, culled from eliminations in twenty-eight cities throughout the land, play one of the most interesting games known to baseball history." Ruth is sitting down and there is an unidentified man next to him.
