The caption (not shown) reads "Babe Ruth, who represents the New York Yankees in the holdout group, photographed at St. Petersburg, Fla., as he enjoyed some golf by way of preparing himself for H[...] coming tilt with Col. Jacob Ruppert over a little matter [...] money. Ruppert said he would pay $70,000 for one year [...] said he would accept a contract for two years at [...] figure, but in the meantime would holdout for $80,000; [...] thus the "terrible" battle goes on. Col. Ruppert is exp[...] to be a Florida visitor sometime soon."
