DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth fishing. The caption (not shown) reads "Sporting an early sun tan, Babe Ruth beams at his catch, a 50-pound sailfish he hooked in the Gulf Stream off Miami Beach. The Bambino will have the fish mounted to take back to New York." An additional caption (not shown) reads "Babe Ruth, fishing at Miami Beach for the first time, shows that he can handle a fishing rod nearly as well as he can a baseball bat. The Sultan of Swat, resting in Florida after a long illness caught a sailfish and several smaller fish."
