The caption (not shown) reads "Mrs. Claire Ruth, widow of baseball's famous Babe Ruth compares pictures of her husband and present day Yankee slugger Mickey Mantle in her Riverside Drive apartment here August 16th. Mrs. Ruth who still attends Yankee games, admires Mantle's natural ability and hopes that injuries will not interfere with his threat to her husband's home run mark of 60. Babe Ruth died August 17, 1948."
