The team is organized in four rows, the front row has the bat boy sitting on the ground, the second row is sitting on a bench, third row is standing and the back row is standing on a bench. The photograph is taken at an angle from the left side of the team. All of the players and coaches are wearing Brooklyn Dodgers home uniforms expect for the trainer and club house boy who are wearing t-shirts and the team manager and secretary who are wearing suits. The caption on the back (not shown) reads, "National League Champions New York: Members of the National League Champion Brooklyn Dodgers who will meet the New York Yankees in World Series starting Oct. 5 pose for the traditional team picture. The scene is at Yankee Stadium, where the Dodgers held a workout in the enemy ballpark.
