DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Wes Westrum, dressed in a San Francisco Giants uniform, talking to Mayo Smith, who is dressed in a Detroit Tigers uniform. Smith has his arms behind his head and legs propped up. A newspaper clipping on the back of the photo adds: "Place in the Sun: Wes Westrum, left, and Mayo Smith, new manager of the Tigers, take a break from training routine at Lakeland, Fla." Players can be seen practicing on the field behind the pair.
