DescriptionA ticket to the monument ceremony in honor of Lou Gehrig, July 4, 1941, on the two year anniversary of Lou Gehrig Day. The left side of the ticket has the team and stadium names, enclosed in a box it reads "Lou Gehrig Memorial, July 4, 1941." Below is the ticket terms with a facsimile signature of E.G. Barrow. To the far left and right, are green areas with red printing stating it is a grandstand admission, $1.10, ticket number 8972. On the right side of the ticket is a photo of Gehrig in a Yankees uniform. Above it reads "Lou Gehrig memorial" and below it has the date. To the right of his photo are the tickets terms. The verso has the ticket notices and is stamped "Void" on each side of the perforation.
