Biography"The Mooresville Moors was the primary moniker of the minor league baseball teams based in Mooresville, North Carolina between 1936 and 1953. Mooresville teams played as members of the Carolina League (1936), North Carolina State League (1937–1942, 1945–1952) and Tar Heel League (1953). The Mooresville Moors won six North Carolina State League Championships. The Mooresville Braves were an affiliate of the Boston Braves in 1945.
