Titanic Relief Fund Exhibition Game scorecard

DescriptionA scorecard for an exhibition game between the New York Yankees and New York Giants on April 21, 1912. The scorecard is not scored but has the roster typed in black. This oversize scorecard is printed on green paper with black lettering. The front cover, starting from the top, reads "75 cents, No. 17039, Holder of this program is invited to sit in Grand Tier or Lower Stand Seats." This is followed by the title and an explanation of why this game is being played and states that "The proceeds will go to the widows and orphans who survived the wreck of the White Star Steamship "Titanic." The bottom reads "New York Polo Grounds, game called at 3 PM, Sunday afternoon, April 21, 1912." The back cover has an illustration of men on the sinking Titanic watching a row boat in the distance. This is titled "The Last Boat" by Hal Coffman.
