George Weiss New York Yankees World Series ring

DescriptionGold ring with a clear gem set within a diamond-shaped home plate in the center against a laurel wreath background and "New York Yankees / World Champions" in gold lettering around the perimeter. Each shank has a depiction of an eagle with outstretched wings, a shield and a baseball with "New York" at the top and "1932" at the bottom. Back side of the band is textured. "George Weiss" is engraved on the interior of the band.
Bio/Historical NoteThe 1932 World Series featured the National League champion Chicago Cubs against the American League champion New York Yankees. The Yankees defeated the Cubs, four games to none.
