DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of St. Louis Browns Baby Doll Jacobson captured as he practices his batting swing on the sidelines of the baseball field at Comiskey Park. Jacobson has a serious expression on his face he completed his swing and holds the baseball bat on the left side of his body. He is dressed in the St. Louis Browns road uniform. An unidentified St. Louis Browns baseball player is visible throwing the baseball behind Jacobson in the background. Several unidentified baseball fans are visible in the stadium seating at Comiskey Park in the background. Based on Jacobson's uniform and his time with the St. Louis Browns this negative was taken between 1919 and 1926.
