DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Lew Fonseca captured along the sideline of the baseball field at Comiskey Park as he jumps up to grab the baseball out of the air. Fonseca has a slight smile on his face as the baseball lands in the baseball glove. He is dressed in the Cleveland Indians road uniform. Two unidentified baseball players are visible in the outfield in the background. Comiskey Park is visible in the background. Based on Fonseca's uniform and his time with the Cleveland Indians this negative was taken between 1927 and 1928.
