Lew Fonseca Dugout glass plate negative

Datebetween 1932 and 1934
DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Lew Fonseca, left, captured as he is seated in the dugout and is looking out onto the baseball field at Comiskey Park. A young boy, who is probably Lew Fonseca Jr., is standing in between Fonseca's legs and has his arm around Fonseca's shoulder while holding a baseball bat in his free hand. An unidentified gentleman dressed in street clothes appears to be pointing something out to Fonseca. Fonseca is dressed in the Chicago White Sox home uniform. Two other unidentified gentlemen are visible in the background. Comiskey Park is visible in the background. Based on Fonseca's uniform and his time with the Chicago White Sox this negative was taken between 1932 and 1934.
