DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Cuckoo Christiansen captured practicing his batting swing on the sidelines of a baseball field. Christiansen is holding the baseball bat over his right shoulder and is looking up into the sky with a small smile. He is dressed in the Cincinnati Reds road uniform. An unidentified stadium is visible in the background. Based on Christiansen's uniform and his time with the Cincinnati Reds this negative was taken between 1926 and 1927.
