DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Jack Dalton captured standing on the baseball field bent down as he touches the grass with his baseball glove on his left hand. Dalton is looking straight ahead with a small smile on his face. He is dressed in the Brooklyn Dodgers uniform but it is indistinguishable whether it is a home or road uniform. An unidentified stadium is visible in the background. Based on Dalton's uniform and his time with the Brooklyn Dodgers this negative was taken in approximately 1914. Deterioration to the negative is visible in the image.
