Wally Berger Batting glass plate negative

Dateapproximately 1936
DescriptionA black-and-white glass plate negative of Boston Bees Wally Berger captured while at bat during a game. Berger has a smile on is face as he completes his swing and his feet twist in the dirt in the batter's box. He is dressed in the Boston Bees uniform but it is indistinguishable whether it is a home or road uniform. An unidentified catcher of the opposing team is visible behind Berger holding his baseball glove up. An unidentified stadium that is filled with numerous baseball fans is visible in the background. Based on Berger's uniform and his time with the Boston Bees this negative was taken in 1936.
