DescriptionTwo black-and-white negatives of Jimmy Wasdell captured signing his autograph for an unidentified young fan. Wasdell is looking down at the paper he is signing and is holding his baseball cap against the fence that divides the stands from the baseball field. He is dressed in a Brooklyn Dodgers home uniform. The young fan is behind the fence in the stands and is smiling while watching Wasdell. An unidentified smiling woman, probably the boy's mother, looks on. Ebbets Field is in the background. Based on Wasdell's uniform and his time with the Dodgers, this negative was taken in either 1940 or 1941.
