DescriptionWooden bat, 30 ounces, with "Louisville Slugger / 125 Powerized Reg U.S. Pat Off" in the center of the barrel and "Genuine / Ted Williams / Louisville Slugger" inscribed near the end of the barrel. "W183" is inscribed on the knob along with a handwritten "9" on the knob end in black paint.

Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Ted Williams of the Boston Red Sox to record his 2,000th career hit at Yankee Stadium on August 11, 1955. The Yankees defeated the Red Sox 5-3.
