DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of, from left to right, Eddie Collins, Connie Mack and Kid Gleason captured standing at the edge of the dug out. Collins, smiling, has his one hand of his hip and his other arm resting on his leg. Mack is tight lipped, holding a writing untensil in one hand and a notebook in another. Gleason is looking off to the side with his one hand resting on his knee. Collins and Gleason are dressed in the Philadelphia Athletics road uniform, whereas Mack is dressed in a suit. An unidentified player in the dug out in the background. An unidentified stadium, filled with unidentified fans is in the background. The caption on the back of the photograph states, "Photo shows Eddie Collins, Connie Mack, and 'Kid' Gleason, the Philadelphia board of strategy." Based on their uniforms, this photograph was taken between 1928 and 1930.
