DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Whit Wyatt captured catching the baseball during his warm up on the sideline of the baseball field. Wyatt is looking down at his baseball glove and the brim of his baseball cap is casting a shadow on the upper half of his face. Wyatt's glove is turned down and the baseball is visible inside of his glove. He is dressed in a Brooklyn Dodgers home uniform. An unidentified Brooklyn Dodgers player is at third base in the background. Ebbets Field is in the background and fans are scattered throughout the seating. Advertisements line the lower wall of the stands. Based on Wyatt's uniform and his time with the Dodgers, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
