DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Ossie Vitt captured watching the Cleveland Indians game from the dugout. Vitt is seated on the front bench and has a small smile as he looks out onto the field. His right hand is touching his chin and both of his feet are resting on the bottom step that leads into the dugout. Vitt is dressed in the Cleveland Indians home uniform. An unidentified Cleveland Indians player is standing next to Vitt on the bench. Several other unidentified Cleveland Indians players are seated through the dugout. Based on Vitt's uniform and his time as a manager for the Indians, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
