DescriptionA black-and-white negative of Ossie Vitt captured in profile observing the baseball game from the Cleveland Indians dugout. Vitt is sitting on the front bench and has his feet resting on the bottom step that leads into the dugout. His right arm is propped up on his right leg and his right hand is touching his chin. He has a look of concentration on his face. He is dressed in the Cleveland Indians home uniform. Several other unidentified Cleveland Indians players are seated throughout the dugout as well. The bat box is visible. To the side of the dugout, numerous fans are visible in the stands. Based on Vitt's uniform and his time with the Indians as a manager, this negative was probably taken in 1940.
